Situated 140 Kilometers north of Winnipeg on Highway #8, you will find a small jewel in the picturesque Interlake region- our Village of Riverton. Predominantly a fishing, farming and construction community of 547, Riverton is known for its warm culture, friendliness and generousity.
Serving as the Gateway to Hecla and Grindstone Provincial Parks, taking a scenic drive may find rare birds and an abundance of wildlife. If you are a hunter or a fisher, Riverton is the home of many outfitters.
Riverton, "A river runs through it", takes advantage of our Icelandic river for fishing, boating or sea-dooing. In winter, we are a destination for snowmobilers and part of the Manitoba groomed trail system. In any season, our motto..." Come Play with Us!"
Following Amaglamation in 2015 the Village is part of the Municipality of Bifrost Riverton.
