Teulon is readily accessed by road. Located at the junction of Provincial Highways 7 and 17, Teulon is an easy drive from most Interlake communities and attractions.
The Petunia has been chosen as Teulon’s official flower. The town has incorporated it throughout, using it in its planters and banners, making Teulon the “Petunia Capital of Manitoba”!
Teulon has a number of Special Events throughout the year that are a must attend for visitors and residents in the area! These include the Teulon Veselka Ukrainian Festival at the end of May, Canada Cultural Day on July 1,the Teulon Agricultural Fair in mid August, the Teulon Tractor Pull also in August and Pumpkinfest at the end of September.
Come to Teulon and experience everything we have to offer. We're sure you will be pleased and will come back soon!
While visiting the Museum you will see the restored home of Dr.Hunter, a Presbyterian minister who set up a medical mission to serve Ukrainian pioneers in the area. There is also a country schoolhouse, a Ukrainian log house with an outdoor bake oven,a doll house with over 350 dolls, and St. Mary’s Ukrainian Catholic Church withoriginal contents from the 1920’s.
