Interlake Tourism Association is a membership based organization, however each year we celebrate excellence in other tourism businesses that we work with, that are complimentary to our members to acknowledge what these businesses & groups are doing to promote the Interlake.

South Interlake ATV Club- based out of the Rockwood/ Woodlands area this group has taken on the management of the northern ¾ of the Interlake Pioneer Trail [IPT] running thru the RM's of Rockwood, Woodlands, Armstrong & Fisher. They have recently finished a staging area at Woodroyd that includes a rest stop with picnic tables, bathroom, an accessible loading/unloading area for users of the IPT including horses, biking, hiking and ATVer's. This group & one individual in particular has spent a lot of time putting out over 25 geocaches to enhance the use of the trail by a different group of users.
Arnes Farmers Market- located on Hwy #222 by Arnes this local farmers market has grown by leaps & bounds over the last several years. Open Saturday & Sunday from May thru Thanksgiving weekend, hundreds of locals and cottages visit every weekend to pick up fresh veggies, baking, jams, jellies & to visit.
Fraserwood Hall -located in Fraserwood this hall is a meeting place for the community as well as a destination for many from around the province for one of the many events they sponsor. Marketing their events extensively including on their newly built highway signs for their 2011 campaign.
Gimli Car Club- holding a one day car show & Poker Derby Rally in Gimli & along the beaches this car club hosts up to 700 cars at there show. They also give back to their community by running the Christmas Red Nose Campaign & then contributes to a school breakfast program.
Lake Francis Community Club- hosting 3 years of the Manitoba Provincial Ranch Rodeo finals has been hard work for a small group of dedicated community members. This community pulled together to build a new Community Club when their's started to fall about, knowing they needed a meeting place to keep their community together
One Stop Food & Gas- located in Fisher Branch this new convenience & gas stop has brought new life to the community. Unable to get gas or food after 6:00 p.m. meant uncertain travel into this area. Opening this new store offers a safe stop for travellers as well as recreational activities such as ATV'ers & snowmobilers.
Teulon & District Metis Assoc. - July 1st Celebration- held every Canada Day to Celebrate Canada's birthday. This multicultural celebration brings the town and visitors together as this free concert is held in Green Acres Park. Starts at noon & runs thru to dusk finishing with fireworks.
Teulon Truck & Tractor Pull- gathering visitors from across Canada & the USA to listen to the roar of the engines and to feel the excitement as these huge monster machines prepare to drag, pull, and roar around the field. First of it's kind in Manitoba this 35 year plus weekend event in August continues to draw thousands of visitors.
